ABT Manufacturing Processes

 American Ballistics has been producing ammunition and special components for the US Department of Defense since 1979, and operates in a private manufacturing facility. American Ballistics is a manufacturer of small caliber cartridges that performs all manufacturing processes under one roof.

Manufacturing Processes: AB receives raw material into its facility ( Brass, & Copper ) from approved vendors. Manufacturing processes include Cold Forming, Annealing, Machining, Heat Treating and Finishing. Modern equipment includes ,  priming systems, draw presses, high production plate loading system, and one packaging  line. Machining is done on state-of-the-art CNC equipment designed for machining all types and shapes of metal stock.

Personnel: Experienced workforce that includes design and manufacturing engineering, quality engineering, procurement, fabrication, and production operations.

Environmental Compliance: AB’s facility, equipment and procedures are fully compliant with all federal, state and local requirements. Operations facility is located in Tyrone, Georgia USA.
